THE RED CURE

About:

To be Torn you drink/are injected with the red cure. You immediately go into a coma like state mentally and you hallucinate seeing all your worst fears, hate, regrets. You are trapped inside your mind and cannot control your body. You cannot have any happy feelings whilst Torn and you do not have control over your body it does what it is told to do by the Chancellors. Torn can hear other’s thoughts, but they are so wrapped up in their guilt and regret that they can't focus enough to 'listen'.

IMMUNITY
For some reason, there are certain people who seem to be immune to the affects the 'cure' has on the mind. Their bodies will grow stronger like anyone else being torn, since it does in fact ,cure cancers and some diseases, but they do not suffer psychologically like others. Likewise, they can still control their bodies. This is rare, and immune people often do not ever know. If they do, they've probably broken a law or done something that in turn has told them they are immune. Soldiers are to capture immune people immediately so the government can run tests. Most are in the resistance.

HALFWAY

Like there are people who are completely immune, some people seem to be half immune. They are the most intriguing. If they are immune to the psychological part, their mind is still their own. However, their body is completely taken over, and still takes commands from the Chancellor. They can't speak without him telling them to. These people often go insane because they can hear the thoughts of the torn around them. You never know if a soldier is torn halfway this way because they cannot say so. Their mind, in essence, is still imprisoned, but they can think clearly. Some might even possess the ability to speak to others like themselves.

Likewise, there are people immune to the physical side of it. Their mind is wracked by guilt and regret, but they can still move their bodies and do what they want. These people are also wanted by the government, but most commit suicide before they are carted away from the extreme depression. Those that are able to fight it are either taken by the government or the resistance.

YOU MUST HAVE ADMIN APPROVAL TO BE 'TORN', ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE IMMUNE OR HALFWAY.
