THE SITE PLOT
in 2104
Twenty Years after the birth of the Empire, things still seem to be running smoothly. Chancellor Baron Hughes has taken the position of 'Head of State' from his father, claiming that Hughes Senior wanted to retire in peace. Chancellor Hughes runs a tight ship, and many rules have been added to the Empire's Code of Conduct to endure the utmost safety and care for his beloved citizens. "As you all know, there have been recent squabbles around our outer regions, a sign that invaders are corrupting the minds of our nation and poisoning our utopia. I can't blame them. We are the greatest nation, the strongest empire. Our lives are simple, worry-free, and filled with joy. Who wouldn't want that? These people think it is their right to come and burn down, to tear apart everything our nation has worked hard to build up! A strong, devoted army. Virtually no crime, a happy work-force and a caring government who wants nothing more than to cater to the needs of the people. I only do what is best for you, my nation. That is why these new codes have come out, to ensure our safety!"
The Codes at the time were as followed:
1. Citizens must swear their loyalty to the government. Failure to do so will result in being Torn.
2. Citizens must comply with soldiers and all regulations. It is for the good of the country that we trust in the Chancellor.
3. There will be government surveillance at all times in public places.. This is to ensure the safety of our citizens.
4. Citizens shall treat others with respect and not commit a crime listed in the Codex. Crimes are punishable by the severity.
5. Citizens will carry proof of identity at all times.
6. Citizens will not aid someone who is not a citizen of our beloved nation, for this is treason against your Chancellor.
7. Citizens will not carry weaponry of any kind.
8. Citizens will not lock doors, for this fosters distrust.

EDUCATION
All persons must be in the schooling system until they reach an age of 17. Then they will be given a starter career based on testing and family history. At the age of 19, they can request a change of occupation. The Education system is as follows.
Ages 4-9 attend the Infantry School of Basic Intelligence. Every single student goes through one of these institutions. At the age of 10, they are allowed to choose which pre-preparatory school they shall attend based on interest and IQ. Same applies at age 14 to which Preparatory School (high school) they attend. at 17, they will be sorted into jobs.
SOCIAL LIFE
Social life is not required, but Chancellor Hughes suggests that a healthy social life furthers academic stimulation and bonds to last a lifetime. Therefore he has provided everything entertainment wise, along with morals and principles he expects each citizen to fully understand.
TECHNOLOGY
"This is the 2100's and we are the Empire, is there anything we can't do?"
Technology hasn't advanced as much as science has, but still a decent amount from those cold days of the 2000's. You have lightening fast phones with 13.4G speed, laptops that never need charged, and cars have been outlawed due to severe geological distress. There are walkways everywhere, and bikes practically glide on any surface you want them to. virtual reality is a must inside any home, and firearms are non-existent. If a Soldier needs to take someone down for some ungodly reason, he has the proper equipment. Stun-guns are still in use.
About Weaponry and the Military: The military, if you aren't just a regular torn soldier and actually have completed your training, is very very rigid. you probably command some soldiers or you have a job that doesn't require soldiers, like keeping Central City safe from harm. In the event you confront rebels, your first goal is to capture them for questioning, if you cannot do that, stun them and threaten to use the red cure. If all else fails, use it, the safety of our country is more important. If they attack you, and you feel like your life is being threatened, you are allowed to bring out the one firearm we allow on you, a simple handgun. This is for severe events though. Most of you carry a vial of the red cure, a baton, a stun-gun, a radio and a firearm if you have passed your exams. Be smart and wise, sirs.
ECONOMICS
Chancellor Hughes has done a lot to the economics yet, allowing free trade and stocks to still reign supreme. The government knows all of the business transactions anyway, every dollar is accounted for. Eventually he plans to regulate everything and get rid of money all together. Everyone attains the same things, the whole Empire truly treated the same. Everyone donates a percentage of their income to feed and shelter those who abused the system and ended up homeless, and there are only three types of punishment throughout the whole nation. Confinement for small crimes. Exile for medium ones, and being Torn with the 'Red Cure'.
