character rules
ONE for pete's sake, please don't make this perfect character. Everyone has flaws, and I feel that plots are better when you use those flaws. No Gary Stus.
TWO Toshi will request FC changes if your character is exactly like the character who's face they are borrowing. Don't make a hot headed stubborn guy who likes cats if you are using Kyo from Fruits Baskets, and don't make this huge tsundere if you are using Taiga from Toradora. Just common sense.
THREE don't make your character cuss every other word. Use those special words in moderation, okay?
FOUR Anything about the character that isn't mentioned in the profile should come out of IC plotting and character development. Don't give your character a huge complex about purple hair all of the sudden if it isn't in the profile.
FIVE That being said, please have character development! This world around them is always changing, so it'd make sense for things to happen to them.
